Gat-jeogori(Fur-lined Jacket)

The gat-jeogori is a fur-lined jacket worn for protection against cold during the winter. The jacket which prevailed in North Korea especially in Pyeonyang area, is made of off-white satin damask with small floral motif, lined with fleeces, and otter fur??? is used for trimming the hem, and front opening typically. It is the characteristic of the gat-jeogori in North Korea that there's a folded seam on the sleeve to provide extra material against the shrinkage from washing or worn out for remaking.
