Goi-daenggi is an ornamental hair ribbon that used in the northwestern region of Korea. It was worn on special occasions including weddings and 60th birthdays. It is made of black satin, stuffed with cotton batting to make a tubular shape and decorated with embroidery, coral and pearl beads.
