Dang-ui(Woman's Ceremonial long Jacket)

Woman's ceremonial long jacket with side openings worn for summer during the Joseon period. The dnag-ui is unlined and made of green eunjosa(gauze). Unlined dang-ui is also called kkakkeun-danghansam, and word of kkakkeuname is conjugated from the verb, kkakkatda, which means the seam is cut and trimmed finely. The upper part of the inner overlapping panel is gathered three or four times to protect the panel from hanging down.
