The two separate layer of dang-ui, are overlapped one another and staystitched at the cuffs and hem, as well as the two collar. The dang-ui is imprinted in gold-leaf all over, Chinese characters, mean longevity and good fortune are on the bodice and sleeve and the bats motif on the collar. The outer dang-ui is made of green raw gauze and the shoulder is patched inside with reinforcing cloth. while the inner dang-ui is made of raw pink gauze.
